We just wanted to say thank you so much to you and the guys in the band for being the perfect band for our wedding in Killashee House Hotel on Friday 12th March 2010. I think it's safe to say that you got everyone up dancing which is exactly what we wanted. It was also fantastic that you gave Andi's brother the opportunity to play guitar and sing with you, we know it's something he was egging to do all day and hasn't stopped talking about it since. I also relished my opportunity to show off my hidden air guitar moves to everyone there, if I didn't impress them, I sure impressed myself! ;)

I know you guys got delayed setting up because our speeches went on a bit too long but we really, really appreciated you playing longer than you normally would have done. It was a great party which you guys definitely got going.

Thanks a million again, we'll be recommending you to any of our friends getting married in the future (so hopefully we'll get to boogie to your tunes once again!).

We are just about returning to planet earth after our wedding and wanted to say how incredible you made our evening.

I cannot remember ever being at a wedding that had such a full dance floor all evening and the way that you involved everyone, especially the kids was fantastic. We couldn't wait for you to play "Don't stop believing" and it exceeded out expectations with us being lifted to the roof by our friends and family. That set the stall out and you exceeded that for the whole evening. Before hand we weren't so sure about the AC/DC, Guns and Roses, etc on the set list but they ended up being a highlight for everyone….including the "oldies", absolutely perfect!

Everyone has not stopped talking about you and without a shadow of a doubt we would recommend you to all of our friends and other couples.

We just wanted to say how much you guys made the night of our wedding!!

Everybody was raving about the band and from the first to last song the place was hopping! I heard the phrase "this is the best band ever" at least 50 times on the night and a few times since. I thought the crowd had reached their peak with the U2 tunes but when you pulled those AC/DC numbers out of the bag, well I think the photos speak for themselves!!! Thanks a million for your help with the first song, The Beatles were the perfect choice!

Brilliant brilliant absolutely brilliant! Thanks for a brilliant night, the dance floor was full all night, everyone really enjoyed the night and are still talking about it. From the first song to the last, ye were by far and away the best band we have seen or heard. Your interaction with the crowd was brilliant and everyone got into the spirit of things right from the start. Your song choice all night was spot on and suited the entire crowd.

These lads are at the top of my list for a reason. They made my night! I have read forum posts online with people saying that all people remember after the day is the music and the food and I always thought YEAH YEAH. But it is the truth. Everyone and I mean everyone was asking me where I found this band and how great they were, best wedding band ever. The place was jumping all night and nobody wanted the band to stop. If I had to do my wedding all over again and I only had a couple of grand to spend I would book this band and out of the change book the local GAA club and get sandwiches for everyone.

So they are a great band, they sound great, they get the crowd going, they don't take themselves too seriously and they really buzz off each other and the crowd; but it was the personal touch that makes me love every one of them and I am seriously thinking of turning into a wedding crasher of any weddings they are playing at for two reasons.

1) Before the wedding the stress levels were out of control for me. I was getting asked what do the band play, can Uncle X sing lalalalall. I was getting comments like OH thats your first song thats a bit depressing. I felt like running away. I rang Mick from the band for inspiration and I got a counselling session. He totally put me at my ease. He was so confident and I totally felt relaxed knowing that I could hand over control to him and the other lads and they would make it all OK.

2) My dad had a stroke 18 years ago and he is in a wheelchair. He can't talk but he can sing along a bit to a song. He used to love singing and I always dreamed of him singing at my wedding. This dream was made come true by Goodfellas. The lads gave my dad a microphone and got him to sing along with them. They handled it so coolly and made it look natural and no big deal. I can never thank them enough.

Book them now I swear you will not regret it.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to take the opportunity to say thanks a million for an absolutely outstanding night….i know we mentioned it a million times on the night but you guys really made the night for us!

The dancefloor was jammed for the entire night which is something neither of us have ever seen at all the weddings we have been at! That was all down to you guys, the music kept the crowd going for the whole night. We have heard nothing but rave reports from all our guests and there has been plenty of recommendations for you from guests to others looking for a band.

We really can't thank you enough for the night, the selection of music was absolutely brilliant and there really was something for everyone…..even the AC/DC and Mettalica fans!

Both the grannies are still going on about how you got them involved, it really made the day for them and have given us some unbelievable memories of the day!

We really can't thank you enough for being part of the best party we were ever at, it was top class!

If you are thinking about a band for a wedding, book this band now before someone else does!

We just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding on the 5th. You were absolutely fantastic – energetic, talented and professional - we could not have asked for a better band.

The energy the band gave the room was amazing and you judged the crowd so well with what you played. So many people have remarked how fantastic the band were to us since and we cannot recommend GoodFella's enough to anyone we know who is getting married.

You always worry after the first dance that people will not get up but they were literally running onto the dance floor! We realized at one stage that we were dancing on the carpet because there was no room left and the dance floor in Brook Lodge isn't even small!

Myself and my wife were looking for a band that would make our wedding evening special for all our guests. We went to the usual fairs looking at bands that friends had recommended but none of them impressed us. Many of them seemed more interested in trying to get a deposit asap. Then my wife came across GoodFellas band online and I contacted Mick for a chat. It just so happened that the next day Mick and the band were being filmed in the Sugar Club and I was invited to come along.

So, the next morning I headed into town and met the lads. They were so nice, down to earth and unbelievably talented. I stayed watching their set in the sugar club and it was an amazing experience. I immediately went and got my deposit to secure their services for our wedding. Most couples we know dictate to the band all their "favorite" songs and the evening's entertainment ends up a disappointment for the guests so we just met with Mick and Steve and told them abit about ourselves, one or two of our favorite songs and of course the first dance but left it to the lads to play what songs they felt the crowd would respond to on the night. The result: an amazing night, the floor was filled for the entire night as the GoodFellas band played song after song of floor fillers.

Everyone since our wedding has commented that they enjoyed our wedding so much and a big part of that was down to the amazing performance of the band. I am a perfectionist by nature and not easily impressed, but I can honestly say that the GoodFellas band went beyond my expectations and made our wedding so special for not only myself and my wife but for all our guests. I always recommend the GoodFellas band to anyone I know who is getting married as they are simply fantastic, and for those friends who have decided to choose another band 'to be different' have regretted their decision. What I would say is that if you choose the GoodFellas band and you let them 'do their thing' your night will be one to remember and you will have everyone on the dancefloor all night long!!

You were (and are) the best band I have ever heard at a wedding (or any other event for that matter). You have had so many compliments, you would not believe it. If I had got down on my hands and knees in a church, we would not have got a better band for the reception than Goodfellas. It's a very apt name, you should be called Superfellas !!!
